Lionsgate is ready for some more Saw action so they’ve hired writers Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger to pen Saw: Legacy.

Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger are not new to the horror movie scene as they previously wrote Sorority Row and Piranha 3D, but they are new to the Saw franchise

We expect Saw creators James Wan and Leigh Whannell to produce Saw: Legacy, so the original powerhouse behind the success will stay intact. However, we don’t know who will direct the movie or what the story will be, so it’s still in the very early stages.

It has been 6 years since the presumed last Saw movie, Saw 3D, and the new movie will be number 8 in the Saw franchise.

My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since. The crazy slasher stuff isn't really for me, but hey, to each their own. I guess I just like to be scared and get jump scares, more than being disgusted and laughing at the grotesque. Also, Korean and Spanish horror movies made within the past 10-15 years are among my absolute favorites.
